Abarth 595 180bhp Essesse would I be MAD?
Discussion
Theres a 50 odd page thread in the Fiat section. In a nutshell probably. I have one and do 100 miles a day. Its an irksome fun way to move about, like basically being shouted at while someone slaps you a lot. Driving position is regarded as crap ( you can get kits) but I am weird shaped oompah so its fine for me. Surprisingly quick, stupidly loud. I did strip mine out and lined parts with Dodo mat which helped.
I do/have enjoy it and its an itch stitched, but I won't be sad to see it go.
With the seats down it takes my bike or the dog no worries though. Mines been very very reliable ands its driven hard, a few squeaks etc......

If you're commuting in it, try and see if the driving position works for you - it's not as bad as it first feels, but definitely worth checking given your use. Shorter legs, long arms will work better.
We have a 595C so only the 140bhp version, but it's great fun - I needed something small for short runs and I don't commute - if commuting then cruise may help (if it's available?) as the short leg means you may be bending knees more than other cars..
They sound great - imagine the Essesse will be even better!

You wouldn't be mad but make sure the driving position works for you, also look at the Mito Cloverleaf/Quadrifoglio:

I test dove a normal 595 in the quest for a new car and have always loved the look of these but do make sure you take it for a decent test drive before committing.
I found the ride fidgety and never truly settled and the the seats were a little high - you sat on it rather than in it.
If you can live with that then you’re onto a winner.
