The paint is delaminating badly on the rear quarter where it meets the boot lid.

What are my options here? Is it possible to respray just the rear quarter, perhaps up to the front door but excluding the bumper and the side skirt? Or would that look crap?

Any ideas on cost? And recommendations, ideally in the south east? Did I read that S&D are no more?

Colour is bog-standard Starmist Blue.

There is only one place that I would recommend to spray these cars and that's 'Option One' in Worc's. Frank, top man/top work.

Mine did the same on the boot and a wing, got the back half painted for £300 by some back street garage in Rainham, Essex. Figured if its started flaking off there then it will probably start somewhere else soon so I did a cheap job with the plan to do a full respray in the future, back half is still immaculate 3 years later, started to flake on the top of the doors and one headlight bezel, so my plan was right biggrin

Mike, to me - it looks like the lacquer coat is/has flaked/lost adhesion.

A good paint shop should be able to advise and suggest a rectification. I don't necessarily believe that it has to be anyone specialising in GRP paint either....the base coat looks sound.
Ask around for recommendations
