I am going to buy a brake pipe flaring kit with pipe and unions.

Anyone know what sizes the male/female unions are on the chim master cylinder and metal brake lines ?

They are a mixture of all sorts! My 97 450 had metric flexis and imperial t-pieces.

Thanks for that Adam, It was my worst fear that it would be typical TVR and "It depends"

All the brake and clutch fittings at the ali block in the inner wing are imperial.

Thanks everyone, seems like it was really a good question to ask before tackling the job of replacing brake master and clutch master cylinders.

Brakes are but clutch is normally 1/4"
It is larger to allow better flow. Brakes have very little flow as you are moving brake pads probably less than a millimetre but the clutch possibly an inch or more.
