Vantage getting ceramic coating

Took delivery of 4.7 Vantage, now getting 14 stage clean/ detailing then double ceramic coating comprising kamikaze miyabi base and ism top coat.

Checked out a couple of local guys. Chose LA DETAILING in East Kilbride. Safi is a true perfectionist. Well ok. He talks a true perfectionist game, but I was convinced so in it goes next month.

What coatings have you guys put on?

I am old school too. This is what I use and the paint looks liquid. But car is not a daily driver and always garaged.

I use Meguiars liquid ceramic hybrid wax. Once I clayed the car and polished with the Meguiars polish, I applied the hybrid wax and it has been perfect for arouns a year now. A quick wash with some car shampoo and its perfect again. For spot cleaning I use Meguiars Speed Detail and keep a pot in the car for any bird poo emergency cleaning.

Again, old school here.
3 stage Machine Polish up to Menzerna 3800 superfine grade, wipe down then Fusso Coat, followed by Soft99 Kiwami.
One day I will strip it back and try Angelwax Enigma and longer term will try some Mitchell & King high end waxes. I’m more than a bit cynical and unsure any wax over £50 a tin is actually worth it.
Ceramic coatings are great but I like my detailing hobby.
