2021 Q3 Front Parking Sensors
Discussion
My wife got her car a few months ago (which I did the spec on), but it looks like the car doesn’t have front parking sensors enabled by default, assuming it’s an option I missed.
Daft thing is the sensors are on the car already and seem to be used for the adaptive cruise control and emergency braking.
Anyone know if there’s a way to enable them now the car is built?
Thanks,
G

Are you certain it has the front sensors? Adaptive cruise and emergency braking don't use them.
As for enabling, it's perfectly doable, but what's involved does depend on what is actually in place on the car. A different module is required for the different feature levels.

The radar and anti collision used a radar sensor usually a flat black panel or a dome-horn thing depending on the model (looks like a black domed fog light)
The parking sensors will be 4x small circular sensors across the bumper.
A car won’t be fitted with sensors but not turned on. They can be retrofitted but it’s not cheap or quick as bumper needs cutting, sensors painting, wiring ran then it needs coding in.
