BMW or 3rd Party warranty

I've just got the renewal from BMW to extend the warranty on my F15 X5 M sport and it's £834 for the year. I have quotes elsewhere that could save up to around £100 but it is worth it and should I just stick with BMW for piece of mind?

I'm not brave enough to run a car without warranty
