Astra replacement

Hi

Im looking to replace my Astra, i have about 8k to spend.

I have been looking at the Suzuki Balenos, Fiat Tipos and Dacia Sanderos as cheaper alternatives to the Focus or Astra.

Any tips?

Look at an Alfa Guiletta as something more interesting than the run of the mill stuff.
