Hi

Please can you help me identify what this wire is for. It is a white / grey (slate) wire that is sitting loose behind my alternator. I discovered it when I moved the alternator and coil wiring to the side to replace the thermostat. The car is a 94 500HC serpentine. It looks as though it hasn't been connected for a while by the dust on the terminal. It has a standard spade terminal similar to many of the other TVR connectors.

Thanks
Gordon

Probably just an unused wire in the Land Rover/Range Rover loom, as long as everything works ok then don’t worry about it.
