Identifying a warbird

I was overflown by what sounded like a WW2-era fighter but as I was on the throne by the time I got outside it was a speck on the horizon; Flightradar did not show it, are there any other online things to look at for info or am I st out of luck?

According to the Local People on Local Face Book it was a spitfire doing circuits and bumps in preparation for an airshow at Largs.
