Ok How have you got the 20 odd minutes into a miserly 20MB ? The first video was a whopping 600MB (and well worth it too). Haven't seen it this version yet - waiting til I get to work tomorrow (Lunchtime - honest).

Hi Bob, I think you're looking at the Surrey 1 files. 600Mb compresses down to 20Mb for online download.

The trailer for SR#2 is 35 seconds in length. I've posted 2 versions, one at 4359Kb and the other at 1049Kb. Go on, get it now, its not a big file.

Thanks BB...its only a little teaser.

The full version won't be ready for a few weeks yet. I'm still going thro' the raw video (40Gb), and need to convert a little from widescreen to regular screen.

The camera was attached to the hands and arms of my passenger, holding the camera above the window screen to get a better sense of motion and speed. Only trouble is with the wind noise caught on tape. not sure if I can remove that and keep some engine noises...we'll see.

Shall I put you down for a copy?

PS Those who went on the Run and took pictures, I NEED THEM, especially pictures taken on the move. Please get in touch.

Hi Rob, negatives are fine too, as I've got a neg scanner. Any action shots?

LB,

Looks like the vid is coming along nicely. Hope you will be able to reproduce on CD again. With my old home PC, I had time to nip down to Homebase for some more coal to keep it going whilst downloading....

Keep up the good work.

Luca, I think I've worn out the trailer, how's the main feature coming together? The anticipation is unbearable!

Its finished.....as of 3:15am this morning!!!
Phew...hard work...at the moment, its a 6.6Gb nearly fully functional avi file. There are still a couple of problems with the software that freezes the images for a couple of seconds while the soundtrack plays, then the movie jerks and syncs again with the soundtrack. Obviously I need to fix this problem before mastering the movie to CD. Still hoping to produce a full quality DVD version.

Looked at the first final result this morning...and WOW if I do say so myself....its a masterpiece. Makes the Surrey 1 video look nothing in comparison.

Soundtrack includes some rather odds tunes, but when you see it, you'll agree they were right for the movie. My favourites include the 633 Squadron tune, and Zorba the Greek...both classics.

Off to BTaP now (was hoping to take a copy with me :-( ), so will continue finishing it tomorrow evening...for duplicating and sending early next week.

It'll be worth the wait, trust me.
