JLR Privilege vs Affinity Scheme
Discussion
I spoke to JLR this morning and it appears I can access a new car via Privilege (as an affiliate I can get a car for me, just not wider family), or through the Affinity scheme.
From what I can see, Privilege gives you (by example) 20% off an F Pace (10% JLR discount, 10% mandated dealer discount), whereas affinity gives you a voucher for 10.6% but nobody can tell me if that does or doesn't include dealer discount.
Anyways, main questions:
1) Is it worth it? I assume the discounts are better than what you'd get via drivethedeal or carwow
2) How bad is JLR stock right now for new cars? Is anything getting built at all?
All experiences welcome! Cheers!

As a veteran I can get good discounts. I've not moved on any of them.
I'm not a Jag fan, not up to date compared to competition. Land Rover is another thing.
I was told to swerve the first years production of Defender, that was before the launch and again shortly after. Both by different people within that part of the business.
If you are a veteran or can get one to front you, Forces Cars Direct have great discounts. Audi is amazing.
