Ah - Vanquish, 1st séries I said to my bikeist chum knowledgeably. Need to keep on top of the rear subframes or they rust and you’re into a big bill.

It pootled by and I looked at the rear boot legend which said “Vantage” so scratched my head and shut up.

Turns out it was the Vantage Project car. Very nice it was too.

Didn’t get to say hello to Ian Callum who was judging the concours, but did have some very nice chats with Allen Millyard, Henry Cole and Steve Parrish and a chap who was buying a helicopter whilst he was there.

Very worthwhile day out and will go next year.

I'm going tomorrow. They are celebrating 20 years since the launch of the original V12 Vanquish. I'll be in the display with my not so rusty subframes.
