As a follow up to my earlier posing...

I've been out in the car this afternoon and it's running like poo!

Having spent an age on the search button and this forum it seems that it's very likely to be throttle post (fingers crossed) but my question is do they suddenly go out of tune, the symptoms are hesitation, different exhaust note and lumpyness.

Again, another plee - anyone local to Ashford kent with a laptop with the cerb software and experience of resetting the throttle pots?

Many thanks

Tim

Either the potts as you say, or an HT lead perhaps?

It's always been down to one of these two on my two Cerbs.

Sounds silly, but try her again today. Once or twice mine has sometimes appeared to run a bit 'off', but lo and behold the next day all is fine again

TT Tim - I'm in Ashford, and have said software & a laptop.....

I'm afraid I have no idea how to reset/adjust throttle pots, but am more than happy to plug the laptop top in & we can see if they are balanced or not..... Menas you'll know if thats the fault or not, if nothing else !

Drop me a mail through my profile (gausden"at"gmail.com)

Thanks for the advise guys,

I've been over to see Tim@ACT today (top chap, has even lent me some track day silencers to see if I can get my car down to acceptable levels!) to get some new plug leads and stopped off at Walldonway on the way back to pick up some new plugs and air filter, I'm servicing the car and changing all the bits that are of unknow age, hopefully it will solve it if not I'll be calling you Olly to take you up on your kind offer.

Wish me luck

Tim
