New V8 Vantage owner

Hi all,
New Aston owner here. Finally decided to go for one (having tried to buy a Vantage several times over the past 4 years) as a last petrol car.
Picked it up from Reiss James in Staffordshire over the weekend and could not be happier.
I’ve owned several fast cars (M4, 911, 718, X4M (sorry!)) and this is by far the most special. Every time I park it I have to glance back. An 18 year old me had an identical car as a screen saver and I couldn’t be happier.
First on the list of jobs, a decent detail!

Had my neighbour out in mine last night, said he ticked another one off the bucket list .... Makes you feel good inside.

I've been pissing around the last month or so trying to decide on my next fun motor, once I've got a flat purchase out the way in a few months, and was torn between a 997 or an E92 M3.
Dawned on me that a early V8V 4.3 was just about in reach and had a go in one for the first time ever last week...... and have fallen head over heels. just wow.

I’ve had a couple of 997s, an E92 and an M4. The Aston isn’t as quick but it puts such a smile on your face. I cannot recommend it enough!

The car does attract attention like nothing I’ve ever owned. I’ve had 2 people speak to me in car parks about it which didn’t happen with any of my previous Porsche or BMWs despite them costing significantly more. It’s quite interesting to see other people’s reaction to it. I’m yet to have a negative reaction, if anything people seem more keen to let you out of junctions.
