unable to verify profile

Whenever I try to post a topic or reply, I get the message:
'oops, unable to verify your profile'
I then have to go to my log in, where it cheerfully says: 'hi 800 :)'
(so it obviously recognises me) and log in again.
It only happens on my PowerBook, not on my desktop.
Please help, its becoming a bit tedious :rolleyes:
