Holiday Pay (or not) via Umbrella
Discussion
Having been directed to the Moneybox podcast on Radio 4 about holiday pay by a fellow contractor, I have briefly scanned back through my payslips and something does seem amiss.
I am going to have a proper dig into it at the weekend and review all my payroll from my previous umbrella plus have a good search around the web on this issue but out of interest, has anyone else been shafted by this? If so, is there any best course of action?
Appreciate any input or guidance.

If you haven't fully appraised the paperwork and called your umbrella to ascertain how they administered your leave how do you know you've been shafted ?
Correct I dont - I was curious if others had been and what they did about it incase I have. As mentioned I am having a proper look at the weekend. Not quite sure what you gain by that post?

Same could be said of your post really.....Not quite sure what you gain by that post?
Why would anyone have been shafted this way, who stands to gain?
What do you think the umbrella have done wrong exactly?
Holiday pay via an umbrella is mostly nonsense anyway, they legally have to provide you with a certain amount of holiday, so they just ringfence an equivalent amount (think it's 12.07% of your taxable income) from your income and show it as holiday pay on your payslip.
