Being a tradesman with a van full of tools I am always security conscious, I know a few who have been unlucky and have had their vans broken into and tools stolen costing them £1000's to replace kit that has been built up over years.
These low lifes caused untold misery and ahrdship on working people by stealing from them...

To me it looks like they got off very lightly with the sentences that has been handed down to them furious

Given the impact on the people they stole from, and the amount of money they expected to make I do find the sentences disproportionate.
A fking good hiding might have been a better option, though I'd probably spend twice the amount of time in jail for administering it to a tt stealing my van.

I thought vehicle manufacturers started putting transponders in the keys to stop that? scratchchin
