Recommend a laptop

[Lannister902]

Hi,
Could anyone recommend me a laptop? Budget is MAX £500, but if ones available for less, that's a bonus!

I'd like a solid, well made laptop to carry out basic tasks, browsing, watching videos (so good speakers), a good, clear screen (not to fussed about size), I'd also be doing a little video editing.
I'm not into gaming, apart from solitaire if I feel adventurous.

I'm not sure which operating system, but I'm used to android phone, so may be better off with a Chromebook?

Can I get anything within my budget for what I'd like? Thanks

In typical PH style, I am going to recommend buying an android tablet for your usage.

Until two years ago, I used laptops but then looked at my usage and realised I could do everything on a tablet. Internet browsing, very simple spreadsheets, banking, email, films and tv. Even simple video editting.....all can be completed on my tablet.

Some of the latest tablets within your price range look pretty good - although I am using a Lenovo Yoga Tablet like this
