Heating and ventilation system

Hi Folks, just got my heater blower motor running today and I am disapointed with its effects( little air passage over windscreen etc) When sorting the wiring fault out at the blower motor, I did notice that on the outlet air passage of the motor there was no ducting/pipe, is there supposed to be one which conveys the air upto the heater box ? In addition, on the nearside outer most vent valve on dashboard, there appears to be missing a pipe/hose, this in turn connects upto the centre vent valves.
My other question is does the hose/pipe run from the blower motor to the dashboard nearside valve because at the moment it appears to be using the inner wing cavity to convey this air, does not seem quite right to me !
Anyone have any ideas`
