Has anyone wall mounted one of these monitors?
The instructions (absolute vague nonsense) states that it is possible with a 75 x 75 VESA mount however, taking off the stand to attach the mount reveals it to be uneven. The bottom two screw holes extend out 1/2", as can be seen below...

The only possible way I can think to get it to work is to put in some spacers such as this.....

What do you reckon??

Have you got the mount kit already? Check to see if some spacers or washers are included.

No, theres no specific mount kit and I haven't bought an arm yet. A VESA is a VESA though, They are just metal plates with either 75mm or 100mm centres. I have spacers at home and was just going to pack until level with the bottom screw level.

I've tried getting hold on Electriq tech support to see if my solution is viable but they just pass you on to some generic tech solution company who seem to be as thick as mince. Despite sending pics of the 'uneven' mounting position, they were hell bent on putting me on to 'sales' to get a VESA mount

Quite a lot of the TVs that we mount have different spacer requirements top and bottom so fitting them isn't unusual but that area looks weird to me. Are you sure they dont sell a specific mount or plate for the display? The stuck out pins look a bit like locking pins to me which would then take the load as the screws dont look up to much?

The instructions seem to be these https://www.electriq.co.uk/files/pdf/electriq_49_i... (page 7). There's also a dire warning about damage if overly long bolts are used.

All I can think is a couple of tubular spacers to produce a level surface for a flat mount to bolt to, which is what the OP sketched, ideally with reasonably thick walls to resist tipping effects due to the side loading.

I've bought and fitted 7 or 8 wall mounts and without fail they all have come with a bag of various sized spacers included.
