Name these films - coz i can't

over many years, theres been 2 films, whose title's i've not known, but in seeing just a memorable minute or 2 from both, i've always wondered just what theyre called. :(
so any ideas folks, in that, do these scenes below jog any memories...

film 1. in a western, where at the end, a man hides in a big cash-safe, whereafter the shack he's in explodes with dynamite, killing the the villan who's just entered it, leaving only the guy alive hid in the safe.

film 2. three guys lost in desert sandstorm, find a german world-war-2 tank buried in a sand dune, dig it out, find gold or money in its belly, then ride it into some african town.

now surely both these scenario's are too unique to be from any movie...but if ya know what i mean, their scenes stuck in my memory ever since first seeing them by chance, as while channel hopping some years ago.

ps- both films are pre 1970 i'd say, an in colour, tho i dont recall the actors.

That second one sounds a lot like a novel I read as a lad, about some gadabouts who raise a sunken German submarine to extract the gold...

as i was under 16 i doubt it - tho it does show just how long ago these memories linger dun'it?
so like i said above, i just caught a minute or 2 of them...then wondered ever since just what these films were, as i'd like to see them in total some day

but as i dont their titles, its easily to overlook them
