Anyone run a sub £15k classic car as a company car?
Discussion
Reading the HMRC web site, if a car is over 15 years old and worth less than £15k, then as company car they still base it on the original list price when calculating company car tax.
I have a 1971 Landy 109 (list price was £1075 in 1971), now worth under £15k. I have popped it into the HMRC company car tax calculator and it reckons I would pay £4 a year in CCT. Petrol allowance £19 if we provide private petrol.
Sounds to good to be true?
