I try watch it live, when at work, but follow 1320video on youtube, they do a few good weeks of footage, but generally a great youtube channel anyway.
A few from the UK have done it, Mick in a Bedford HA van, i think it was Cosworth powered, they then stayed on and drove the Route 66 afterwards, he won some award for being a top bloke! , There was also a VW bug cab that did it, but broke on day 1 (or 2)!

Some of the cars that do the event are crazy - proper race cars with licence plates...
Love the self sufficiency ethos, everyone towing trailers with spares and tyres. I think the Aussie lads (the friends of Mighty Car Mods) took over a spare Barra engine and stuck it in their U-Haul trailer.
