On.to (formally evezee?) recent experiences?
Discussion
Morning all,
Has anyone recently got a car from on.to? How did it go?
I also see they now offer ability to up mileage from 1000 miles a month - but need to sign up to see those prices - anyone adjusted?
Edit : also what’s the lead time you experienced of a car “available now”? As their chat told me 4-8 weeks presently
Cheers!

Been with them since April 2019.
Started out with a BMW i3 for 7 months that was then joined by a Model 3 Performance in December of 2019.
Gave them back the i3 in March 2020 when Covid hit as didn't need 2 cars and still have the Model 3 on the drive today. It's going back next moth though as they want to replace it with an LR and increase the price from the £799 we currently pay to £1299.
I've found them to be pretty good TBH and now they also provide the physical key with vehicles rather than just bluetooth access via an app that's one of the big issues resolved.
Most of the vehicles are reasonably price compared to leasing, especially when you consider the benefits. The Tesla's however are ridiculously expensive
Things to watch out for.
£1000 insurance excess (can be lowered to £500 for an additional monthly fee)
£500 windscreen excess (can also be lowered)
£50 for delivery or return of a car
Funnily enough I'm currently on live chat to them organising the swap of the Tesla to another car next month.
What car are you after as I can confirm dates/colours via our account? Mileage pack costs vary by car I believe but for the Tesla it's as below

Used to have a Zoe from them but the prices just kept going up, was cheaper to get the new leaf on 2 year pcp.
As it should be with a 2 year commitment and having to pay your own insurance, maintenance and public charging costs? The flexibility offered will be worth it for some and having compared lease costs to their prices there's not much in it on most models.
Yeah, I couldn't make the sums work for me but if you're doing 10-12k a year, have high insurance costs and need to public charge a lot (as my situation several years ago would have done) then I can see it working.
As it is, I always recommend them to anyone who wants to see if an EV will fit in their life (just give it back after a month or two if it doesn't), then a "consider it" if you're closer to their ideal profile and want the flexibility.

100%. For us with changing job circumstances etc. the flexibility is hugely important. As above we had 2 on.to cars until March last year when lockdowns kicked in and thankfully could drop one of them within a couple of weeks without any penalty. Was annoying to have one car on the drive barely being used for a long period but 2 would have really wound me up.
