Trying to return it to Apple within the 14 day window.

Two 1+ hour Apple support chat sessions so far, two full reset and erase attempts and no further forward.

Will be at defcon peeved pretty soon.

Have you tried registering it and deleting it again ;-)

It's the cloud equivalent of turning the power off and back on again ;-)
