I have a TVR Chimaera with an aftermarket Sigma S30 alarm/immobiliser fitted which is playing up. It was professionally fitted about 10 years ago.
The unit will not lock/unlock. I've done the rudimentary checks and fob's are working OK and the system has power. (it occasionally does lock/unlock OK, but remains immobilised on starter circuit.
Anyone got contact details of a mobile tech who can help please ?
Car is in Napton-on-the-Hill

Hi,
Dave Fairclough of HF Solutions should be able to help (07721 654829).
He’s a Meta agent, but knows TVR’s inside out, and will travel to you.

I have the earlier Sigma and bought a CP1 programmer machine (as the remote's loose their codes, and i called out a guy from Ansty), my understanding is that on resetting the remote all the remotes needs to be with the car and coded at that point and if you have the screen keypad on the Sigma 30, the remotes can be overridden with the pass code. (a get you home). A@

Thanks Adrian, didn't know that. I have the key pad version, no screen. Its a bit odd behavior, it has twice unlocked over last few days of about 20 button pressesbut now seems to not even do that.

I cannot find the guy I called out (I put the business card with in that cars folder 'somewhere safe')...it was a 5 minute job for a drink...he prompted me to buy a programmer. My reader scans the LED and I have had to use it once again when the spare key forgot it's code and so I popped a new battery in both remotes and reset the system (most likely 3 or 4 years later), I now know to replace the batteries at service points) IF I can find the info/number I will post back. Hi, and no, that is the keypad, which can be used to over-ride the alarm ..in your case, take the remote/s out from the equation and give you control of the car until you have the remote paired with the car with a controller. IF you have the code...

Not relevant to my car as I have an earlier key pad, but, with the 4 digit code you can pretty much reset the system yourself. (ScoobyNet,com) Subaru have these alarms. A@

I’ve had the same problem recently with same system. Managed to fix it today though. Check both door actuator switches on the bottom sill before giving sigma a call who will recommend a local mobile technician. Luckily, mine only a stuck actuator."

"Alan Towns What a call Alan Towns removed both switches, blipped the key fob and it all sprang to life !!!!! I OWE YOU SEVERAL PINTS FELLA"

I have been promising to add actuators to my car since I have owned it...and I will one day.
Glad it is sorted, and cheaper than my beer tokens! (only because I paid for them on the day I suppose)! If you have a quick look the codes are worth having around you. A@

Hi Adrian, I'm currently looking for a Sigma CP1 Programmer, and just wondered if you might know of any for sale, or where I might be able to purchase one.

Thanks
