New on here so apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.
About to get delivery of a new 992 GT3 and heard it's very likely to come with Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport R Tyres which my research were only introduced this year, it's one of the 5 tyre types listed on the configurator for the GT3 by the way but of course impossible to specify what the factory will fit so stuck with what comes.

So is there anyone on here with a new GT3 and these tyres, if so any good in the wet as my car will not be just a track day machine.

Thanks

I have these tyres on my 992GT3, I find them no problems, 2 trackdays, another next week, in the wet (road) they seem ok, but I wasn't pushing on....
I will have no problems having them again. I normally run Mich Cup 2 on my other GT3s, but just can't get them at the moment.

I don't think you'll have a problem at all.

Monch, thank you for that, as the OP implied, Porsche specify the tyres that they have tested as suitable however all 5 tyre types have different ratings for wet weather so what I was looking for is exactly what you replied with, i.e experience of the tyre in the wet. Thank you again.

Not sure if any help but the Supersport R are a rebranded Dunlop Sportmaxx 2 so will have identical characteristics in the wet and dry.
