Hi all. Another immobilizer question! Yesterday I came to put my Chimaera back in the garage after a drive out and it wouldn't crank, The odd thing was the fuel pump was priming and the white light on the dash was showing just from the key turn, without me pressing the button on the fob, which kind of suggests that the immobilizer itself was at fault. Once I left the car for a while it reverted to priming only on the fob button and the car then started normally.

I recall it did this once before under similar hot start conditions. I might add that the alarm/immobilizer is not the original Meta one but rather a Sigma unit.

Could this be a relay issue somewhere, or is it as I suspect the Sigma immobiliser glitching in some way?

Cheers for any direction,
Matt

Most problems of this nature are immobiliser related but obviously you need to confirm if voltage is missing from the starter solenoid trigger terminal first and work backwards.
