Audi A4 Avant-lowering suspension

HI, Has anyone lowered suspension on there Avant TDI (Ihave a 62/plate Technic TDI-with the177 engine)bought from 1previous fastidious owner,& a piles of main dealer pprwork/no expense spared. As I love going down to see my family (Madrid) so I enjoy the journeys, Having previously had the S-line model,I was considering lowering by 20/30mm has anyone done similar.Are there pros or cons I also intend to pick up a set of 18/19inch rims. Would appreciate any feedback. Just to add interior is fitted full leather/electic- S-Line seats,big pan-roof etc to make the journy south(from Cheshire enjoyable) *not* using the french Autoroutes,I do not like giving the gendarmes my beer money.
