which computer do you use the longest?

[FelixRoberson]

Just as the title reveals, which computer do you use the longest? I wanna figure out its brand and how long you’ve used it.

Brilliant choice.

I was an Amstrad CPC man, and Daley Thompson's Decathalon was one of my favourites.

Actually, come to think of it, I've had an Olivetti Quaderno laptop since about 1993 and I think it still works. So yeah, Olivetti Quaderno.

The one on the right side of the desk, the one in the left is Steve’s.

But he’s got a migraine so he’s not here at the minute, so Laura is using it which is a bonus because she’s got massive Boobs.

I used my Dell from about 2010-2021, it had 8 new handles and 3 new brushes but it has lasted. Look after your Dell...

Do you want to know:

1. What computer I've owned that's been in regular use for the longest period of years?, or
2. What computer I've owned that's got the longest number of hours uptime?, or
3. What is the longest computer I've owned?

Answers:

1. Late 2014 i7 Apple iMac
2. Late 2014 i7 Apple iMac (probably 12-18 hours a day since I bought it)
3. 2008 Apple octo-core MacPro with a 30" Apple Cinema Display took up most of my desk space

Although the on board computer in my 2006 Z4 has probably been running longer than all of the above
