Quick one, googles not helping and I dont have the handbook, need to clear a code on my Dads 2018 Peugeot Rifter. Which will be the same as upteen other Peugeots and Citroens.

To clear OBD codes you always have ignition ON, but engine not running.

This car has a start button. It seems to START engine, and STOP engine, and no other function.

Other cars you can quick jab the button, or press without foot on brake/clutch etc, and it will wake up the car without starting.

I cannot for the life of me work out how to get the car into what would have been the old '2nd click' of the key barrel - OFF-ACC-IGN-START in order to clear the OBD codes and check a diagnostic theory.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing the clutch switch is broken/has been wired out then?

The Peugeot manual suggests you need to press the start/stop without touching the pedals: https://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/APddb/

Manual here: https://www.autoeurope.com.au/peugeotfleet/documen...

But it reckons for keyless that pressing the button without holding down any pedals will put it in ignition (engine not started) mode, which is consistent with other PSA stuff I've driven.

Thanks both. Thats the same as every other car I'm familiar with too.

Clutch switch is a good call!

Does it have cruise, and if so is it still working? I've had a couple of cars with a dead clutch switch, neither of them would engage cruise.
