I've repurposed my sons old school laptop, forget the model but its aluminium cased, touchscreen jobbie. I recall it was the Asus equivalent of a macbook at the time.

It works perfectly with a USB keyboard but the built in one had overnight began acting strangely. Most keys are fine but if you press "B" up come "BK" for example, its consistent and only applies to certain keys, "S" produces "SG and a few others.

I've restarted ant see if there are any updates but thats about it so far.

Hardware issue or driver issue?

More than likely Hardware.
Keys share Data Lines. Seems as though 2 Data Lines are shorted together.
Might be worth unplugging and replugging the Keyboard Ribbon Cable.

Have used this place for Asus Laptop Parts a couple of times.

Thanks, problem solved though, seems to have "fixed" itself with a couple of hours on it own.
