Spark plugs

Can anyone tell me if NGK BPR6E are OK for the Chimaera. Halfords list them for the Range Rover 3.9 to 4.6.
I could not find B7ECS.

Hi

The 6s are a softer plug than the 7s and could suffer from overheating leading to pinking and bad stuff like that. I imagine they would be OK for pootling round or to get you through in an emergency but bearing in mind the cost of buying 8 of them, I would definitely search out the correct items.

You can try the Champion Eon range, Both chimaeras and griffs listed in booklet, different plugs for HC and 500's, I've had them for about 8 months and they make the car run smoother, also they last for about 30000 miles.
