Dear Flipper member
You may have seen in the media that eight energy suppliers have recently ceased trading. There are several reasons, a key one being the heavily reported increase to gas wholesale prices, and the subsequent removal of low cost tariffs from the market.
In addition to 1.5m customers across the UK now progressing through the supplier of last resort process, all of this has resulted in several switching companies temporarily or permanently withdrawing services.
Unfortunately, Flipper, is another victim of the smaller and more competitive suppliers failing. With less reliable smaller retailer options available, and with others pulling tariffs from the market, there is now little or no option to flip customers. At the same time, we incur very high operating costs associated with the way the market is regulated.
With 18,000 Flipper customers being caught up in the supplier of last resort process this week, we are very sad to announce that we are withdrawing from the market, as we can no longer continue to offer the service promised to you, our loyal members and we can no longer sustain the great savings that as Flipper customers you have come to expect.
What does this mean for my Flipper Service?
For those not already in the supplier of last resort process, your supply, payments and tariff with your supplier will not be affected.
Any flips that have already been instructed will continue and you will be able to access your new supplier details through your Flipper Dashboard, again we will forward any correspondence from your new supplier.
Urgent Action
Flipper previously monitored and forwarded all emails and communications to you from your supplier. To ensure you still receive these in future, you will need to log into your supplier's account.
Please log in to your energy supplier account and change your email address and password to ensure you can access your account and billing information in the future, and so that you will continue to receive communications from your supplier.
Your ongoing energy relationship will now be directly with your supplier. For any queries you have about your energy supply, you should now contact your energy supplier directly. The details of your supplier, your login and password are all on your Flipper Dashboard.To access your supplier login information, please use this link: How do I login to my supplier's online account.
Supplier of Last Resort Customers
If we emailed you recently, to notify you that you are now progressing through the process of being switched to a supplier of last resort, please wait for your supplier to contact you (we will forward any contact we receive), take regular meter readings (with photos), and wait for correspondence from your new supplier. Once this transfer is completed, you will then need to follow the above process to change your contact details, to be able to communicate directly with your new supplier.

From 23 September 2021 our telephone lines will be closed. We will still be replying to customer contact via email until 22 October 2021 when the business will close. If contacting us during this period please do bear with us, as we are experiencing very high contact volumes.
Membership Fee
From Thursday 30th September 2021 you can request a pro-rata refund of your annual Flipper membership fee, for the proportion of the rest of your membership year you will not benefit from our service. Please click here and provide the email address you use to access your Flipper Dashboard and your registration code, which is your Flipper ID.
Thank you for choosing to be part of the Flipper community for your energy switching service, we are very sorry the market has become unsustainable for us to operate within, and we are no longer able to offer you this service. Our only hope is that the current turmoil in the market will lead to future change, enabling a fairer, more customer focused and more cost effective energy retail market for customers.

Nice but you can't actually change email on Avro website, no doubt fun will ensue.
The link to refund and "Flipper ID" as code looks like another dead-end as the registration needs a number which Flipper don't provide. Quick to take the easy admin money but run as soon as need to do some work... so standard then
