Haven't seen a thread on this.

Shades of Sarah Everard in that the poor girl simply disappeared and was found murdered.

Two people arrested to date and CCTV appeals for what seems to be a third person.

So sad…..cannot for the life of me understand why someone would attack somebody….not sure what goes through their mind.

Wrong narrative I reckon hence the relative silence from the media and virtue signallers.

My guess first date probably with someone her family didn’t agree with.

We shall see, someone else been arrested.
Relative silence by the media? Are you blind?
It's all over the news yesterday and so far today, it's in all the papers. The usual suspects are all over the news about violence against women and already there's a vigil planned.

A vigil organiser from Reclaim our Streets on Sky news this morning and already a lot of flowers/tributes at the scene. This may well become another Sarah Everard situation.

It is already another Sarah Everard situation. An innocent murdered woman who was walking home.

Reclaim our Streets try to hijack everything they can and a lot of women are well aware of this.
RIP Sabina, condolences to her friends and family.

You know exactly what I meant.

118 innocent women were murdered in the last 12 months.

Is that ALL women who were murdered in the past 12 months or are you only including the "innocent" ones?

Were there some guilty women murdered that you have left out of the figures?

How many males were murdered in the past 12 months and do you have a distinction for men based on guilt or innocence?

This thread is about Sabina but in true PH fashion it will be hijacked.

The 118 names were those read out by Jess Phillips MP in the house.

Total murders was 600 I believe....

Care is needed with headlines IMO.

If you bothered to read the response to my first post you will see it was that respondent who made the 'innocent' distinction.

You were the one that brought numbers into it.

Why weren't the names of male murder victims read out, don't they matter?

In this context, the word 'innocent' often seems to mean 'just going about their legitimate business' rather than being the victim of, for example, a drug gang feud of their own making.. It is not used as the opposite of 'guilty'.

I do wish people wouldn't use it like this though. Just gives opportunities for complaint, especially when as has happened in the past, but hopefully not so much recently, Police use 'innocent ' like this.

Whatever ROS are doing it doesn't seem to be working much.
I'm not exactly sure that you can convince psychopathic murderers to stop killing folk because you asked nicely.

Perhaps if division/segregation wasn't introduced in the first place there'd be less whataboutism.

Whose streets are they?

Agree - surely it is legitimate to say that the murder of women is part of a larger problem of murder of people. It doesn't make the female victims worth less , or more, than the male ones.
Where women are clearly the main victims is in sexual harassment, rape and other sex offences - not murder. And it these 'lesser' offences, experienced by just about every woman, that lead to feeling unsafe on the streets;

A woman is murdered and the usual lot are bickering about "what about men".

Give your heads a wobble it's actually embarrassing.
