Hi

We've start paying more European bank account (in Euros) from our standard UK Barclays business account, normally €50-€100k a month.

There do not seem to be any fees involved but reckon we're probably getting fair hammered on the exchange rate.

Is there a better way to do this?

Any of these new fancy electronic banks worth looking at?

Cheers

Forward contract. Either through your bank or via an FX dealer.

https://wise.com - might be a solution. Have used in the past, much better rates than banks.

By the way, you can now use twitter to send money immediately anywhere in the world to any recipient with a smartphone, with very low fees. This is using the Lighting network but in hindsight I think this is intended to send small amounts.

(edited to state twitter, not paypal)
