Our office is the 5 windows behind the hideous signs, letting agent says landlord has said they won’t move them. I don’t believe they asked.
Just looks terrible.

Looks like they’ve been there a while. At least they are for non-awkward businesses…

Time to get your own sign up then - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em...

Looks like 2 of the companies are no longer on site, I’ve emailed the landlord.

2 issues, My new office window looks at the back of them, they are ugly and block view, also 2 of the companies are not even still trading.

You should be looking at your computer and working, not star gazing outside day dreaming. Tsk, youth of today.

I'd be upset about the signs over your window and would kindly request they were relocated to the brick wall. I can't see what the issue is with the rest of them. I presume your're paying a pretty low level of rent - offices on an industrial estate. If you want some nice offices, head to Spinningfields in Manchester - rent £38psf, service charge at £7psf and business rates at circa £14psf payable.

The OP is a tenant, it's the landlord who put the signs up on the building they own for the benefit of his other tenants. He doesn't need consent.

Ah, didn't realise the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 didn't apply in that situation. I'll shut up then.

Which element are they in breach of?

Where did I say they were in breach? I asked a question.

If your lease has a quite enjoyment clause, you maybe able to rely on that if those signs are over your window blocking light.
