F80 M3 Colours.....trying to find the impossible?

Hi All,

After 10 years of E39 M5 ownership and a break with Lotus and Jaguar ownership, I've now decided an F80 M3 (or maybe M4) purchase is the way forward......

I'm just stuck staring at white, black and grey cars......

Does anyone know how many slightly more 'wild' colours are out there?

Is it worth waiting or do I need to compromise.....?

Yas Marina Blue and Sakhir Orange are two colours that spring to mind.

I'd never compromise on the probably the second most expensive thing I'll own at any one time.

I love San Marino Blue but I'm biased.

Just on Autotrader there are 110 M3's and 226 M4's that aren't white / black / grey so I'd say you have a fair choice.

Slim considering that's how they rolled off the production line.

Same to the dark (shadow line?) Competition wheels question. They became standard after 2018 months think?

Nope. Sun Pro was an option and the wheels were available as silver or dark smoke across all years on the F82 Competition.

I was at Eastern in Edinburgh today getting an MOT and new front disks and pads for my E92 and they had a load of F80 M3s in nice colours. Two blues which were lovely. Give them a shout perhaps.

Gorgeous. I'm a massive fan of the Japan red E92's, which, I believe is the same colour as Ferrari red. One wasn't available when I was ready to purchase my E92 so went for my other long term favourite, Monte Carlo Blue. Not seen a F80 in that hue before....

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone. Lots of useful ideas......sadly had to give up on an M3 due due the huge premium and go for an M4..

Unique colour found! Forgive the cleanliness....this is after the 500 miles journey home!
