Tightening up drivers door mirror head to arm?

My drivers door mirror has come loose at the joint where the head joins the black arm. It wobbles a little and can sometimes have to be manually put back into place.

I have remove the head from the arm expecting to find a simple nut/bolt which i could tighten but it looks like I have to detach the actual mechanism and or body coloured cover to gain access?

Anybody else done this, or can say how I separate the actual head from the mechanism or otherwise tighten up the head so it doesn't wobble?

For clarity it is NOT where the arm fixes to the car door, its the head to arm that is causing the issue.

Update - I managed to separate the cover by using a trim kit and gentle manipulation around an edge.... still couldn't see anything to tighten mind!
