Sad to hear of Alans passing. Saw him at the Quo reunion in Glasgow 2013 and he didn't look so well then, still a shock. RIP.

Very sad news.. Unfortunately he'd already left when I saw Status Quo supporting Queen at Knebworth in 1986.
Dreadful thing MS..

Gutted. Saw Alan many times and was lucky enough to see him at Manchester during the get together.

Bye bye Jonny will never be the same.

Only just heard this - MS what a bd disease.

Don't think I'd have posted a vid of 'Matchstick Men' in his memory, although I was a teen at the time...

THIS is far more appropriate and suited for Alan.
The music he loved best.
The Doors 'Roadhouse Blues'.

I still have a few of their albums and Piledriver still remains favourite.

When he was in the band in 1970.

And the reunion Frantic Four. Even though not in the best of health then, he did this superb.

RIP Alan.
