It takes me twice as long to get home, as I never take the short route as an excuse to drive it :-)

Hello Mungo - we don't see you in here very often!

Can't think of any bad points off the top of my head really - perhaps the lack of an air vent to point at your left hand and stop it getting clammy!

1. Everyone smiling at you
2. No-one worth racing
3. Everyone at the petrol station talking to you
4. Young girls winking at you - that may be just me, of course
5. Jealousy

Oh you get the idea.

Hey, that reminds me. A guy once stopped me and asked if I'd ever got laid because of my Noble. I said I hadn't, and he said 'what a waste of money.'
Sorry to lower the tone (as if) but has anyone actually managed to score with their Noble?

Ground clearance (in the week I've had it!)has actually been a lot better than I hoped so far and no obvious faults come to mind yet, other than the poor quality of the leather. Touch wood it seems leagues and leagues ahead of my TVRs in build quality but it will have to be bloody good to beat my HSV for that!

Stone chips.

But I never see them as I am too busy inside getting them

The door mirrors have a mind of their own, but why bother with them, nothing will overtake you.

Even the people you think are going to call you a W*Nk*r suprise you and comment on what a good chap you are and they love the car. Now that can really take you back.

All the mobile phones pointing in your direction taking photos.

I even had a guy follow me through Leeds videoing me. Good job the Police didn't see him, one hand on the wheel and the other holding the camera.

Loads more.

Just get it, you only live once!

1. Turning circle/lock
2. Ground clearance
3. No storage

That's about it really. Build/reliability...depends what you're coming from:

Blackpool? Noble is great.
Germany? Noble is not so great

what's the service/maintainance like? How often do they need attention between services?

Wini, each car is going to be different in terms of maintenaince and reliablity,as someone mentioned it's what you are used to as well, apart from what sort of life the car has. At the end of the day you are either going to want one so much that you go into it with eyes open and enjoy what the car is all about, or you will feel it's just not your car at all and buy something more mainstream(which I personally have never been able to do). Drive lots of them, for a decent amount of time in all conditions, do plenty of homework and enjoy!

Which compares very favourably with BMW servicing costs given the starting price of the car, and has got to be bargin of the year if you compare it to a Ferrari....

As long as you appreciate you are buying a £50,000 hand built car then you won't get any shocks.

Hi Wini - As most people have mentioned there are actually very few shortfalls with a Noble. My only real complaints were the turning circle and ground clearance, and these have both been resolved to an extent with the later cars. The compliance in the ride is a revelation compared to most track oriented cars. Many people will sight the lack of boot as an issue but we've taken a weeks worth of luggage on holiday, and that included the Mrs shoes

The only issue you might run into is some expensive servicing. I managed approx £9000 in 30 months ownership (20k miles, 5 track days), excluding tyres. However i do appear to have been a little unlucky with my car, but don't let anyone try and convince you that an M12 is a cheap to run exotic. It isn't. My 355 is like running a Micra in comparison!

Definitely get one though, the price is well worth paying

Mine has been great and there is no car I would rather have for the money at the moment. Took my friend out the other week he owns a 360 spider f1 and he could not believe the Noble after the money he has just spent. Says it all!

Oh and it is worth getting one just to take a girl out for the night with a short skirt on (word of advice open and close the door for her)

Stuh, didn't I read that you needed a new clutch or gearbox for your Fezza a while back?!
