BT - I've finally had enough

Right, that's it - a £57 bill of which only 57p is on calls. I'm leaving.

I have two residential lines and am thinking of moving line rental to One-Tel, since I already use them successfully for a calling package on one of the lines. It's £9.99pcm.

Does anyone know where I might get a deal for signing up for up two line rentals?

Aye....they've lost another customer, too.

My mother's in her 90's. I paid her last bill.

Next bill has just come, with a one-off charge of £5.

You can have your line rental through them: www.onetel.com

Their caller package is wonderful - all normal phone numbers are free to call 24/7, I get an itemised bill showing every call and just two lines of costs.

So easy, BT can't do it.

01 includes all STD numbers

However 0845, 0870 and mobiles are extra.

I got a bill for £337 today for a line i dont even have, dont get me wrong i ordered the line 5 weeks ago, and was told free installation etc, and have just received the above bill for installation and calls on a line they havnt even provided yet

They cut me off twice!, each time within 4 days of getting the bill,so i rang them to say "give me time to stick the stamp on the letter"
and each time the poor girl on the other end of the phone apologised saying it wont happen again,bless 'em.

I misread it, do those prices include VAT?
Does anyone else have any experience with Onetel?

...as above, its not the calls that cost the money, its the line rental

As of this morning I now have both lines rented through OneTel. A simple free call and it's all fixed up to change over in 15 days.

I know BT are simply wholesaling the line via OneTel but at least I will never have to see another ing BT bill again.

Then I can pay the last BT bill minus the £5 extortion and let them sing for it
