Recent watch valuation
Discussion
Hi,
Has anyone had their watch(es) values recently either online or in person? I am based in Kent and my insurance renewal requires them now as they have probably increased past the amount for my general household stuff. I had heard of ivaluer but I think they have gone out of business.
Thanks

Yes, in person and valued by a jeweller that sells similar watches. It might be worth checking with your insurance company what they are willing to accept as a valuation certificate. I was mostly interested in getting a submariner LV valued and stating that figure as an agreed valuation for insurance given the ridiculous prices that some similar steel watches have crept up to - didn't want to lose it and only be given RRP to try and replace it.
