Sorry another covid question
Discussion
So having a small business with 4 employee's
Recently i myself had Covid and had to to take ten days off
I regarded my employee's as close contacts in hindsight maybe this was a slight exaggeration as we still follow social distancing
I had to get them to down tools and go for PCR test to see if they were also affected.
Luckily they were negative but i still lost all of them for the best part half day when the went for test's
Then they had to follow track and trace advice and remain at home until they received their results.
Which was most of the following day.
This palaver has a major affect on operations and could litterally happen regularly if someone in workers family is sent for a test
And the said worker is alerted by track and trace.
Then that affects all workers and they have to go for tests again.
So if a worker is initially alerted by track and trace from an source outside of the workplace and does test positive
Are we expected to send all our workers home and wait on them getting results from their own test's.
After i caught it i relised just how vulnerable my business can be.

As far as I understand it... people who are double vax'd have no obligation to isolate or present for testing unless they display symptoms?
There was no need to isolate them if they were well and received both doses.
Hope you are well now!
Yes i am fine thanks for asking apart from no sense of smell.....nada 100% gone hopefully returns at some pointThere was no need to isolate them if they were well and received both doses.

Re your comment yes i thought that was the case but.....
How does one read the last point below it reads to me you still have to have a PCR test carried out...... unfortunatley
Exemptions
People no longer need to self-isolate for ten days as a close contact if they:
have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination under a UK Government programme (and 2 weeks have passed since receiving the second dose), or are under 18; and
are asymptomatic; and
return a negative PCR test
