Car battery - old car, new battery tech...

Hi folks,

Need a new battery for my 2007 Mondeo Diesel, old one got completely discharged and upon inspection I found out it was the original

Anyway, it seems as though the world of batteries has changed somewhat since I last bought one. EFB, AGM, lead acid, etc. etc.

Question is, will an EFB battery be OK in my older car that doesn't have stop/start technology but does have high drain devices and audio equipment?
