Hi,
I am looking to get into car valeting as a possible career...love cleaning cars...I am a keen amatuer, but this means nothing on the employment front ! Does anyone know of any training courses in North East Scotland ? Had a look but can't find anything...any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks
Gavin

Have you considered offering your help with valeting to a small local independent? Once you gain a little experience, you could develop a c.v. I’m not aware of valeting courses as such, but when I was in the trade, it was a matter of word of mouth recommendation. Also, if a particular garage in the network had a good valeter, other small outfits would use its services. Most small traders have acquired valeting skills but if they are busy ( or simply very successful) they will farm out valeting. £40 was typical for a car that wasn’t disgusting.Maybe £50 now.

Da cordless Milwaukee great piece of kit. Just have to be careful with the big batteries. Get carried away an can easily bash the car!
