I’ve got a monthly membership into the Vanguard 500 etf (VUSA) fanboy club but according to Morningstar the UK FTSE is where it’s happening over the next few years..

Just slip a bit of FTSE 250 in there if you agree.

There's not much to choose between them as far as I can see. I have the Xtrackers S&P500 ETF, which is similar. It comes down to ongoing charges and they're all much of a muchness.

Which makes me wonder why they offer both?

Presumably they want to cover all investor profiles - those looking for the flexibility of an ETF as well as those looking for a mutual fund.

Think you'll find the Admiral is the US only fund so you won't be able to buy it in the UK.
