PS5 WiFi connection issue

Just got my PS5 today, set it all up but I keep getting an error when connecting to the WiFi code: CE-109502-7. It can't seem to pick up the IP address and just times out.

I thought I had an issue with the console but it works fine with mobile hotspot that's currently connected to the WiFi. I've reset the PS5 and the router but it's just not having it.

Did anyone else have this issue when they got their PS5 and fix it? I don't want to keep using the hotspot just to play online.

Have a play with the 2.5/5ghz settings and try setting your IP information manually if you're comfortable doing so (instruction videos available on YT)

Out of interest how far are from your router? We've had to add an additional WiFi extender upstairs since my lad got his PS5. His PC/phone/iPad all got great signal and speeds without one but the PS5 was rubbish. Seems to have a very poor antenna.
