What Speed 6 Cats?

My SP6 failed emissions on last MOT but I borrowed a pair for the retested and all was good, I don’t really want to be changing cats every year so am considering buying a pair and leaving them on for the upcoming test.
Question is what do I buy and where do I get them, I have seen some at under £100 each, which I won’t be buying, I have also seen them at close to £700 each, which I would rather not pay, I only do 1500(ish) miles/year.
Any info on what others are running, price and supplier would be appreciated.

There is a company rsj_carcare on ebay doing a pair for £735 plus a deal from ebay popped up taking £60 off that. Or Magnaflow universal high flow cats are cheaper? Someone will be along to say whether these are any good. Let us know how it works out.

Why wouldn't you buy the £100 ones?

Speed6 Cats are metallic foil, very rarely fail and if you can get pictures of the catalyst and confirm they are there and not melted then all good.

What were the results of the your first failed test? How hot were the Cats?

Have a look on the Tuscan parts wiki...the CATs listed there work fine. They are type approved and I've used them though many MOTs
