Anyone have a source of the blue TPS on the 4.5 V8 AJP?

Jools (spitfire4v8) is our go-to supplier these days, he has stock.

He does, but of Black ones, not Blue ones, which are no longer made. The Black one needs to have the mounting holes drilled out to 7mm and the TP rotated very slightly to get the 'default' position to read approx 15%...

Ask Jools to make the modification for you and educate you on the fitting instructions... just done the very same on my Sag and it fixed the terrible running issues I had.

There have been 2 batches of blue ones made.. Joolz kept stock.

No blue ones only black ones .. they have an offset of a couple of percent so slotting or drilling the mounting holes gets you the required movement to correct that if you can't get it on the tolerance of the mounting holes alone.

I can attest, a ‘kidney shaped’ drill bit works best.

Can I just unbolt the old TPS’s and for new, will it run or do they need calibrating?

Hook up the laptop, but no need to start engine (just immobilize), record throttle pot values. Replace the first one and set it to the recorded value, repeat for the second one. Should be all-set.
